HENRY'S FAMILY METHOD
I subscribe to very few of the formula dog training methods that are now so much in vogue (especially those seen on TV), methods that attempt to reduce dog training to a simple formula. For example, I do not subscribe to the "Wolf Pack" training concept. A dog is not a wolf, nor has it been one for some some 15,000 years.

And I have a strong distaste for the currently popular Alpha Dog theories. "Henry's Family Method" is to think of a dog as a five or six-year-old child that never really grows up, and unfortunately cannot communicate verbaly. Every dog--like every child--is an individual with a unique personality that must be considered in any training program.

"Don't blame the dog for what's on the other end of the leash."

"I'm Execy. Henry's training me for agility.
See me take the broad jump. Is that style or what!"
